Mode of payment was excepted to be told yes, thirty minutes later I was denied my food when I arrived to pick it up. When asking for the cashiers name I was hung up on 5 times rudely, apparently all the catering business I have helped arrange means nothing, or just being a loyal customer. We have been dining with Pappas seafood (carry out) for years with no complaints. My family is very disappointed. They need people that actually care if you come back or not. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Pappas Restaurant (1725 Taylor Ave). STOP!!! Don’t waste your time or money. The food was lousy and the service double lousy.I celebrated my 64th birthday there and one of my guest never got her food awhole table of people who ordered thier specialty (crabcake) was undercooked and full of filler. When the waitress was told about the undercooked crabcake my niece was told to take it home and cook it for another 10 minutes. When I spoke to the manager about my dissatisfaction he said he would have the owner ,Mr pappas to call me the next morning. Its 2 days later and I’m still waiting on that call.

Confusing and uninspiring. For those not in the know, Pappa’s bought Hales a while back so now there is the main Pappa’s restaurant, the carry out window connected to the Pappa’s restaurant, and this carry out seafood Pappa’s across the street. If that’s not confusing enough, their web site doesn’t help any. Nor do the people when you call and start ordering off a menu for the other carry out. Regardless, the food from Pappa’s Seafood was tremendously boring and disappointing. The crab cake was good. Thank goodness. Scallops tasted fishy and were tough. Fish sandwich was tasteless except for the mayonnaise. Slaw was good but fries were a soggy mess.
