Not exactly what I expected. Maybe my bad day. I had planned to say a lot. Because this was a first visit, I’ll hold my thoughts for another time, so this is a first opinion. Both the beef and pulled pork – need more smoke. In my opinion, the smoke taste has to be in the meat. Enhancements come from the sauce. The beans were good, lots of smokey flavor, meaty too. I could make a meal of the beans.Based on the brisket and the pulled pork, I would say more seasoning, more smoke time could not hurt. If there is a negative comment, it would be based on portions and pricing, The two meats (16 ozs) with sauces, were not provided with any bread, coleslaw or other fixins’ – that is pricey, at about $23. To me, the a’ la Carte pricing is way off base You want a meal, one price, period… Chubby’s should reconsider the small additions (like bread) to have a complete meal at some escalated number.I would like to try the sausage, next time, I will. I just hope the ‘on my plate price’ is more reasonable.Oh, Last comment for the evening – Plasticware is not the way to impress.
