I’ve been to the Ott House several times for lunch/dinner. This establishment is a bar/ restaurant, its a very casual atmosphere so you normally seat yourself. The staff are friendly, and usually very busy, as this place gets packed especially Thurs-Saturday. They have live music on weekends, and Mondays is their Wing night from 5-close. The food is delicious and prices reasonable. I recommend going there for a good meal.

The Old Chief. I make annual trips from Texas to the National Fire Academy. My first stop is always at the Ott House. Then I make a few more stops there throughout the week. Bobby Ott is a great host, I’ve never had a bad meal or a warm beer. What more could a guy want?
Had their lunch specia (lasagna) and it was better than many Italian places. A great place to relax & eat.
Excellent Food and drinks. Went here on a recent trip to the National Fire Academy. The blue crab cake sub is awesome. Drinks are strong. Beer selection is mostly big commercial stuff.They have a van that will pickup/drop NFA students which is a huge bonus if you don’t have a car.
Disappointed. I take all the nice things i said about the Ott House back and will never go there again. The last time we went which was the same day i wrote the nice review it was aweful. we went to celebrate another family birthday. the band cancelled which wasn’t the owners fault but the workers including Bobby the owner were so moody and unfriendly it was terrible. Sorry you lost about 250.00 fom us. hope you can get a bit friendlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!04 Sep, 2010Favorite Place To celebrate. We love this Bar! Whenever it is someones Birthday in our family this is where we like to celebrate. The AYCE Crablegs are the best around. The menu is also GREAT! The service is very friendly and accomidating.The entertainment is even better so you can stay after dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening. It is even nice to see all the Fire Fighters come in to the bar. The Fire school is right next door and whenever they come from all over the US (I guess) they patronise the bar. We highly recommend this bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cost effective fire fighter bar that has very good pub grub and very strong drinks. Really needs a micro brew on tap, but burgers are worth the drive.
