BEST seafood around!. Perfection! Seafood is awesome…drinks are awesome……desserts are to die for!!! Keep up the good work Conrad’s!!
Just because you simply add Old Bay seasoning in every meal means it’s good food……. Mediocre food with Old Bay seasoning in every meal. Would you pay $40 for a surf and turf? Maybe if it is cooked well, my experience wasn’t the best…chef(?), I mean the cook overcooked my steak, served with limp asparagus and yucky potato mash. Popcorn with old bay as appetizer? Really? Just go to your regular joint like Outback or Chilis and pay less with similar if not better food choices.
YUM!
Wonderfull food and service. Used our Groupon at the bar this past Sunday and was very pleased. Our bartender was friendly (not annoyingly so) and very knowledgeable about the menu. For a starter , we tried the Avocado Brulee at his recommendation and he was right, it was a unique and refreshing starter on a hot day. We had the fish sandwich (fresh cod) and the broiled seafood platter – everything was so fresh and the presentation was very nice too. He sold us on dessert even though we were full and we were not disappointed. Desserts are made on premise and the strawberry Neapolitan is enough for two! YUMMY. Cant wait to go back !
Coming into their own. Visited Conrad’s twice while in town this past week – once for lunch and once for dinner. While both dining experiences were pleasant, we enjoyed the lunch experience more than our dinner experience. For lunch, we ordered three different entrees – the crab cake sandwich, shrimp salad sandwich and broiled seafood platter. The two sandwiches were a perfectly sized portion for lunch – complete with sweet potato fries and a pickle. The broiled seafood platter – cod, shrimp and scallops – was perfectly cooked and served with a tasty lemon butter sauce, a side of slaw and fries. What worked for us at lunch, however, worked against us at dinner. While the crabcake sandwich – once again perfectly cooked – is a perfect size for lunch is a bit small as a dinner portion. I’d be willing to pay more for a more hearty sized crabcake at dinner. The Maryland Cobb Salad, however, was outstanding – an exceptional mix of crabmeat, shrimp, bleu cheese, and mixed greens. We also ordered a couple mixed drinks from the bar – both of which were poorly concocted and served in a mason jar. Guess that what you get for ordering a mixed drink from a place that specializes in steamed crabs. Will we be back – YES!
Wonderful. My husband and I stopped by last Saturday to grab a bite and it was delicious. We got the mussels and they were huge. The cream of crab was smooth and creamy. My crabcake sandwich was also great. Oh to top it off my orange crush was excellent. I will be going back again..
SALTY!!!!. CRABS ARE VERY SALTY!
