Traditional Vietnamese cuisine is greatly more vegetable oriented. I would like to see a variety of plant-based items on the menu. Simply taking the meat out does not make a dish vegan.
On the top of my Favs!. THis place has simple, delicious food and a great family-run atmosphere. I’ve traveled to Asia and you really get the feel of a cultural experience. My husband & I go there almost every week. They always remember us and know what we like to order. THe place is always full of people from that part of the world speaking different languages, enjoying the food and good conversation. In my opinion, this says a lot. On the other hand, the food is simple(meaning nothing too exotic) enough that even my husband, typical American guy with no travel/cultural experience(who wouldn’t even eat American Chinese food before we met) loves the food and family atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a newbie or anyone who loves great food and cultural experience. Also to note that we always see families with kids there. And Yes, the food always comes out within minutes of ordering. And I’ve eaten there many times and the portions are always huge.

The thing I really like is when I walk in and the employees (mostly family I think) are all enjoying the same food they are serving customers. Even my Vietnamese friend likes and approves this place.
🙁 NO GOOD. I tried this place for the firts time today. I wasa very excited to try it, but was quickly disappointed. I ordered the Lemongrass stir-fried shrip. The lunch cost $10, the serving size was very small and it was so extremely spicy I could barely choke it down. The spice thing is hard to believe since I really love hot food. I don’t see any longevity for this restaurant. There are many better options for meals in this area. .
