Nice people and lots of options. The review from hgary sends quite unfair, looking for a sandwich not on the menu, called something no one else probably heard of, and making a big thing of it. Really takes the cake (they only have bagels). I have to give it a 5 to compensate, Although I do have to say the the bialys are lame.
Pay attention, the questions are going to get tougher. Went to Brooklyn bagel on hooks lane today with my wife for brunch. My wife got egg salad on a bagel and said it was great. I however, was not so lucky. I inquired if they had something their competition calls the FAT RABBIT. Basically, it is a POWERHOUSE sandwich on a bagel. The young lady who took our order didnt understand at first when I said FAT RABBIT and I even mentioned the BAGEL BIN who made this sandwich popular. Her response not once but twice was to point to an item on the menu which was a fried egg on a bagel with tomatoes on it. After I said for a third time IT;S LIKE A POWERHOUSE SANDWICH, she once again pointed to the menu, I finally said Just give me a toasted bagel with butter. Also I found the coffee from the coffee bar a bit stale as in leftover from early morning breakfast. In summary 1 and a half stars. hg
