The food is excellent. The brisket slammer is one of my favorite things to eat. I’ve had most of their breakfast items and can’t wait to try some more of the specialty sandwiches.
Local and loyal Rainbow Cake available. (11/22/2012) Had the Rainbow Cake at a Thanksgiving dinner at a friend’s. Apparently, it’s a long-standing family tradition for them. I’d never seen one before (not being from around these parts). It’s certainly, ummm, festively colorful. Cake was moist, hint of vanilla, but somewhat doughy; layered thinly with a fudgy chocolate icing. Lots of flash, not much bang.
