Perfecto!. Mari Luna Latin Grille was absolutely perfect. The bistec a la criolla could not be better..just ask for it cooked medium. The sopa de cangrejo is a latin twist on crab soup and offers an array of flavors. The sangria is to die for, but if you don’t like that, there are so many other options. The wait staff is fantastic and the service is pretty quick. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you different. The place could not be better!

Excellent. I never spiced my food with anything. All the food that I received never needed any spices. Everything was so great. From the time I entered the restaurant, I was greeted so nicely. I just enjoyed my food. It was so great!!!!!!
Over shot the mark.. Went here with family on a Friday evening, pre-rush. Nice atmosphere, but really missed the boat food-wise. From reviews of this and their other restaurant, I’ll assume they did decent Mexican food before opening this place. IMO, the Latin Grille overshoots by attempting to be something it is not – an upscale eating experience. My experience with previous Latin type restaurants is simple food that is good because it’s different. At this place, we found entrees that were attempts at upscaling latin food into something it isn’t. We had 3 different entrees, black bean soup, 2 deserts, wine and coffee. All of the entrees were drowning in heavy sauces that did not compliment the food and certainly weren’t Latin based cuisine. The black bean soup was more soupy than soup. Service was OK, but condescending. I noticed that they also used the old, get them to order desert and coffee without seeing the menu trick. $4.00 for a double espresso! Come on! I regularly pay $1.75 for a double espresso in my town. That was the icing on the cake. If you can’t make your money legitimately through the food on the menu, don’t scalp me on the coffee and $10 per glass wine. I would not recommend this place to people who enjoy eating at authentic ethnic restaurants.
To die for. My wife and I recently went into this location on the way back from Home Depot and let me tell you. The food is unbelievable. We took advantage of their three-course meal for two deal and my wife enjoyed her salad while the seafood soup I ordered was good. What really blew us away was the entres and deserts. My wife ordered Bistec A La Criolla and the steak was cooked to perfection. I ordered Costillas De Puerco Con Tamarindo BBQ and the house-made sauce was to die for. We were doubtful that anything could top our entres but, the Chocolate Tort was mind blowing. It was moist, rich, chocolate taste that made me want to eat an entire families worth of it. Literally one of the best meals we have enjoyed not only in Baltimore, but in the Country. The service was awesome too. Our waiter made fantastic suggestions and was polite and timely with all of our food and drink refills.I would definitely recommend visiting them at least once and prepare to pay for it. While it may be on the pricier side, it is most certainly worth it.
Writing this review with a stomach ache…. My husband and I decided to go to dinner to celebrate and since we love the Mexican Mari Luna so much we decided to try the Latin restaurant. We arrived at 645 on a Saturday and had to sit by the bar in an uncomfortable 2 top that barely fit our silverware let alone plates and glasses. We ordered the lobster bisque and found no actual lobster was in the $8 bowl of soup. The bisque was fabulous but I was craving lobster and the soup didn’t meet my expectations at the price they charge. For our entree we ordered the Parrillada for two which includes Shrimp stuffed with crab meat, lobster, Rack of Lamb, Beef Tenderloin and Ribs. Unfortunately everything came overcooked and even worse the lobster was so rubbery I couldn’t even cut it with a fork and knife, At $48 a platter I was ready to tell the waitress when she came by that I would like a new lobster tail. Sadly no one ever came to check on us until we were ready for our check (we had been sitting for at least 10 minutes with empty glasses waiting for someone just to ask us how our meal was). Finally the waitress came by and when we explained how overcooked everything was she had to get the manager. I’m not sure why the manager was necessary since he didn’t offer much help and we ended up paying full price for the entire meal without even an offer for a free dessert or to take the lobster tail off the bill. I am sitting here writing this review with a stomach ache hoping to help others who think the menu looks great. If you are in the mood for great Mexican food I HIGHLY recommend the original Mari Luna but would not suggest the Latin restaurant.
Food was subpar for the price I paid, service was attentive. What they offered at the buffet was atrocious, if you have a medical ailment such diabetes or hypertension make sure you bring your mess. Food was beyond salty. This is not a do over
