I’ve been walking past Geppetto’s for months….but the reviews kept me away. Bad call – this was excellent. Wonderful atmosphere, attentive and helpful service, string wine selection and fabulous deep dish pizza. The bread is dense, complex and delicious. Going back.
An experience that fell very short of my expectations. Visited the place with my girlfriend. We were seated right away, but nobody came to us for about 11 minutes (yes, we timed it… because we were curious to see how long it would actually take). We got a glass of water each, without a word from the waiter… and waited another 5 minutes… and this is with several open tables, and 3 waiters on the floor. But, that was not enough to deter us from having a great meal. So, finally we placed the order. I presented my Groupon (and the waiter was surprised i had not printed it out… lol, really?), he asked if he could have my phone to scan it. Had i known i would have to wait for my phone (unlocked and out of sight) for over 15 minutes, I probably would have reconsidered.I really liked Grilled Gulf Shrimp Bruschetta… and the Veal Marsala seemed a bit bland to us… but, not bad. The fun part was in the end… when my girlfriend asked if she could substitute her prepaid desert, with coffee. Now this is the funny part:the waiter had to go check with the manager, and the manager said it was not possible… these people are degenerates, that should not be working in the service industry, because that alone shows they have no concept of customer service. Food was ok… but I would deff. not visit the place again.

Geppetto’s pizza is one of the best I have ever had this is coming from someone who is very picky about pizza. Their crust is perfect — lightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside — and the crust has a good thickness to it – And the pizza sauce is probably the most flavorful I have ever tasted — it is zesty with just the right amount of and also has a subtle sweetness to it. The mozzarella cheese is perfect; it just melts in your mouth. And if you’re a pepperoni lover, Geppetto’s pepperoni is unlike any other place — it is VERY tasty with a nice light crispness around its edges — and they put a TON of them on the pizzas. I wish they could ship their pizzas to me in Spokane Washington they are that good.
The deep dish pizza is incredible. And if you like the pizzza is to die for! If you like calimari you will absolutly love the calimari here! If you like Geppettos try the wine bar next door…. It’s even better
Very nice and cozy restaurant. Their rockfish pistaccio crusted dish was wonderful, although it is a little pricey. The wine list was not as good as it could have been.
