Lunch specials are great!. Daily lunch specials are $5.99 and all are very tasty! Burger, pizza, steak sandwich, salad, and more just $6! Great sweet potato fries, too. Ample parking in the plaza. Walls are lined with TV’s. Friendly wait staff. Live lobster tank.
Great place. Great food and wonderful services
Disappointing crabs. I’d been to reters 3-4 times before my latest visit and the food was always good. On my latest visit we ordered a dozen jumbo crabs, for over $100, and half of them were empty. It was really disappointing, especially because the crabs that did have meat were very full and tasted great. Why serve people crabs like that and then act like the customer is wrong when they complain about only being able to eat half of their meal? They ended up charging us for 7 jumbo crabs and 5 large crabs, which was still frustrating because we had to pay ~$35 for crabs we couldn’t even eat. The waitress was attentive and nice until we had a complaint. I won’t be visiting reters again.
Delicious. Went for dinner awhile back and it was great! Place was loud, but the atmosphere was beachy and cute. Our server was fantastic and answered all my boyfriends questions about their Hawaiian beer and even let him taste a few before ordering. Started with the mixed crab soup and it was delicious with huge pieces of crab. I had steak and it was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had the surf and turf burger and swears it was the best burger he has ever had. Everyone should go check this place out! It’s always packed and now that it is summer they have outdoor seating! I know I’ll be back!
Over priced and Under whelming!. I and my 2 kids went here recently and ordered a dozen small steamed crabs. First, they were $36 which I thought was high but figured they would be good quality so I thought it would be worth it….WRONG! First, they were not freshly steamed, they were heated in an oven which made them extremely dry and difficult to get the meat out of. Second, the seasoning was NOT Old Bay. I don’t know what it was but it was not good and since they were not fresh steamed, the seasoning was dry and just sitting on top of them and fell off as soon as we picked them up. Awful! Not to mention, I ordered a drink and got a lipstick stained glass, our waitress forgot half of our other items, and the ketchup bottles were all empty. I ordered a soft crab sandwich and it arrived as two small fried soft shell crabs sitting in a bun with no lettuce or tomato, they were over-cooked, and they were bland…no seasoning in the coating…very disappointing. Needless to say, we will not be going back.
Over Priced, LOUD, marginal food. For the life of me, I don’t understand how this place stays busy. The prices are outragous and the noise level is deafening.
