The best way place in Howard County for Mexican! I’ve been coming here for 20 years. The steak tacos al carbon & the pork enchiladas are our favorites. I don’t even need the menu. Best homemade salsa too!
Great food. Very good food, a cut above the rest. Mi Casa in EC edges them out however.
Best Mexican Food in the area.. The mole and verdes are just fabulous. They do everything well, even the ordinary. If you think you’ve had tacos before, you haven’t had them til you try their tacos de alambre, steak and chorizo. GREAT.They get crowded and the fact that people wait to get in tells you all you need to know about a strip center mexican restaurant.
Caliente. I have to say I go to El Azteca for one thing- their spicy stuffed chicken peppers! I love them- date night equals 2 margaritas, enchiladas & my lips burning from those yummy peppers! Small place but cozy.
Converted. While at first I couldn’t understand the accolades (both here and from friends) for this strip shopping center Tex-Mex, I have come around to any restaurant that can provide well made food in a timely manner at a reasonable price. The house salsa was superb and the burritos, tacos and fajitas were clearly a step above most corner places.P.S. They really do have the best margaritas around.
Best Mexican in Howard County. Nice mix of Tex-Mex and regional Mexican food. Large portions, very fast service. Always crowded, and for good reason. Nowhere near the food I’ve had when visiting family in Austin, Texas, but the best I’ve found around here. Menu includes the usual tacos-burritos-fajitas and regional specialties. The mole is excellent.
