Local Gem. As a long time customer of the Grille, Its always been a favorite local watering hole, but I felt compelled to write a review with the step up it seems to have taken lately. The food has always been good, but lately they have been providing specials that keep things fresh and obviously delicious. Combined with a nice family atmosphere and friendly servers that always recognize you, it results in a place we love to come, especially now that they are open for lunch every day. Obviously the beer selection is great and ever changing, as a beer lover, especially IPAs, they always have something I want. And with something always going on, be it live music or trivia night, its just a nice spot to be at in the neighborhood. They embrace of social media, Facebook/ Twitter, so we are always up to date with whats new and we need to check out.
Great Burgers!. Monday night half price burgers… Excellent burgers with home made chips. The Chipotle Buffalo Burger or the Angus beef rare with blue cheese, red peppers and guacamole. Good selection of craft beers. This is not fine dining and ambiance is a bit sterile but those burgers and a great brew are worth coming back for every Monday Night.
Shocked at the positive reviews!. We have been there several times, and the food is always very blah. The last time was the nail in the coffin. We saw the server when she took our order and never again. The food came and everything that was fried was soggy, the kids mac and cheese looked to be reheated for the 3rd or 4th time and my alfredo tasted like milk and flour. After I tracked down the manager to get us our bill 20mins after we finished eating. He of course comped it. As we left, our server actually chased us out to the parking lot for not paying the bill. I directed her to her manager that was not far behind her. Seriously, even though it was free, I feel overcharged. Eat at your own risk. But…it is fun if all you’re looking for is a drink.
Great Experience!!!. River Hill Grille is the place to be!!! I came here last week with a couple of friends and we had a blast. The food was awesome, and the staff was excellent. Our server Will recommended some great drinks to us, I will definitely be back again soon, probably on a football Sunday to try out the game day specials!
Very Disappointed in the Grille. Took my family there on Monday night and was very disappointed in the Manager and our waiter. We are regular customers, so we understand this doesn’t normally happen. We waited 10 minutes after being seated to be greeted by a waiter and that was because we had to ask for someone. We gave our complete order at one time and we waited almost 30 minutes to receive our drinks from the bar. Our appetizers never came out and it took almost 45 minutes to get our food. Spoke to the Manager and he never came to our table to give us an update on our order or even to apologize. All they needed to do was tell us when we sat down that they were extremely busy and please be patient. This would have given us the option to stay or leave. We had our three kids with us and they were not happy with how long it took. When we got our burgers, they were either overcooked or rare. Management, you need to do better then this!
Great Experience. I went into River Hill Sports Grille for the first time since it was Luna C. The service was outstanding. The young lady that waited on us was not only attractive (which is a plus) but she also was very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. The drink my wife had was incredible, made with fresh squeezed blueberries and I had one of their craft beers also delicious. I must say I will recommend River Hill to my friends and will be returning soon to enjoy the steak strip appetizer to die for!
Always Something Happening!. Always something happening at the Grill! Nightly specials, live entertainment ( you should really check out the balloon guy on Thursdays, no really, you’ll be amazed even if you don’t have kids with you!!) Outdoor seating is great. Inside you can choose dining room or bar, each have multiple TV screens filled with different sports.
