There are not many good Chinese places in Rockville and this is surely one of the better ones. We got tea smoked chicken, dan dan noodles, fried dough, salty soy milk and wontons. The soy milk and fried dough were good. The tea smoked chicken was the stand out dish , you could taste the smoke and tea but it was not over powering and the chicken was beautifully moist and fatty. The dan dan noodles were also very good and very different. The wontons on the other hand were a big disappointment , they didn’t have much meat and they were served in a small bowl where they had all clung together to form a big mush, plus it was lacking in flavor department. Another thing this place is lacking is in service. Half of the time we were here we spent it on catching our servers attention. But other than that the food is good. foodiemuggles.com

Cheap and good. Great place for a quick and cheap meal. We particularly like the scallion pancakes and the awesome dan-dan noodles. I like the taste of their dumplings but the pink color of the meat always weirds me out and they are a bit greasy, so I only get that occasionally. Definitely worth a trip if you want filling, inexpensive and authentic Chinese food.

Cash only! A very differt Dim Sum than the typical mainstream Chinese, however very good and extremely inexpensive. The staff is efficient but not overly tuned in to helping non- Chinese speakers. Fried dumplings, spicy tripe and the smoked chicken were excellent.

Authentic and Delicious. Prepare to be blown away. This place has the reputation for being one of Rockville’s Best Cheap Eats. Yes, the dishes are cheap ($1-abt 7.99) but they are also extremely small. You should average about 2-3 per person or more if you’re really hungry. The chinese dishes here are truly authentic and delicious. The taste is not as overpowering as your typical Chinese restaurant. What I love about this place is that you can ask for hand-made noodles with their noodle dishes. It’s almost like they specially made it for you, and it is powerfully satisfying.

Good Chinese Food. Good chinese food in suburban Maryland. The food is pretty authentic. Good dumplings (fried and in soup) along with good noddles in soups. Noodles and dumpling skins taste very fresh. Good service for a Chinese restaurant. Expect a wait on busy days like weekends and holidays. But generally worth the wait.
