It was ok. I would come again if friends asked again but wouldn’t be a choice I would offer. Food was fine but service spotty. Orange chicken was fine but the steamed pork dumpling appetizer is prob what turned me off. Dizzying menu would be nice if better categories to help find and choose things. Cute decor. Friendly staff

Decent-not fancy. We tried Joes Noodle House on 6/23. It is tucked away on the side of a plaza, quite small inside (read that to mean that large parties are difficult-table of 9 last night took over the place). The staff was friendly, fast to refill tea and water. The food really was great. Huge selection. My only complaints being that there is a sign saying please wait to be seated, then you are seated and nobody comes to take your order, you are expected to go order at the counter, a fact nobody bothered to explain. Once we ordered, my hubby asked for 2 appetizers and I one entree plus an appetizer so they served it in shifts, which would have been nice but my hubby ate while I watched him then I ate while he watched me. The food was worth it though. We had dan dan noodles, steamed pork dumplings, spicy wontons, and moo shu chicken.
It was pretty good. The spicy beef noodle soup had great flavor. I was not spicy. The dumplings were decent.
Food was great, so was the service. The staff (at least the ones I interacted with) were very nice, spoke/understood English well, and were very willing to help you choose from their enormous menu. In fact the only negative thing I have to say about the place is their menu is SO large it had my head spinning. But, it seems that they can handle the vast selection because everything my table ordered was fantastic. I also noticed that in addition to the authentic items on the menu, they also offer Americanized entrees. Great place!
When I Chinese Restaurant is packed with Chinese Customers. You know that it offers authentic cuisine but Joe’s also offers the Americanized version. Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. I have dined there dozens of times, taken clients there, and have never left hungry or unhappy. If you are expecting fancy, don’t bother. You seat yourself and order at the counter. My favorite is crispy beef.
