We don’t really like chain restaurants but this is an exception.America is known for its bbq but unfortunately, I personally hate smoke flavor and most of the places kind of, over do that. Mission bbq was the only place where i actually enjoyed the bbq as the smokiness was really mild. I also like the fact that the meat is well seasoned. I didn’t really like the corn bread though and they can surely improve that. Otherwise a good place to have some nice American bbq. foodiemuggles.com
Good, perfectly sevicable, but not great bbq. To be fair, Rockville, MD, is not exactly the seat of great bbq. The pulled chicken and baby back ribs are decent, the green beans and baked beans even better, however the cornbread needs improvement. Six kinds of bbq sauce, the standard sauce seemed the most edible, my wife like the kc classic, the rest give varying degrees of hot or spicy. The service is friendly and fast, and tables are clean.

The associates were eager to serve and assist, with pleasant attitudes. The self serve and drink station was clean and well stocked. Our food looked great and tasted better. Would have liked for the salad to have some spring mix. The meats were well flavored, served with uniform temperatures so did not come across as reheated. They were moist, the smoke and seasoning enhanced the flavor allowing us to taste each meat and enjoy them individually. The various sauces were great to experiment with, though the meats stood up on their own.
