Really disliked The Prime Street Grille. We stopped at The Prime Street Grille after church on Easter for brunch. They were offering a $23 all you can eat buffet that we partook of. Perhaps that was our mistake, but there were several other problems we had during our meal. To start, the table we had was over by the sloped ceiling. There were obvious water marks on the ceiling and we kept getting whiffs of mildew, which was very unpleasant. The server took us over to the buffet to check out the food and it looked ok, so that was what we decided on. The food was horrible. Everything except the bacon tasted like it had been sitting in the chaffing dishes for hours. The French toast was rock hard. The oatmeal and grits were watery and the grits were flavorless. There was nothing at all on the buffet that justified the $23 price tag. I could have gotten fresher food from Golden Corral. Our server was a little over-zealous. She kept asking to clear our plates while we were still eating off them. The bloody mary I had was pretty good and my companion enjoyed his beer. Overall, we were very unimpressed and will not be returning.

Wish I was joking. We’d give this less than 1/5 if we could. Picture me this: the oysters on the half shell came out STACKED on top of one another on a plate of ice – mussels uncut, and that was it. Literally. No cocktail sauce, horseradish, vinegar, Tabasco, not even a lemon wedge. We had to ask for app plates, and no silverware was provided. We asked for some silverware after the app plates came, and ended up eating the oysters with giant forks. And were they even good? Nope.My meal tasted like hospital food, aside from the potatoes au gratin, which seemed a little burnt and when I unfortunately finished them, almost half an inch of butter remained in my bowl. My boyfriend offered me a bite of his Strip, which I had to spit out in the bathroom when I realized its pink facade was actually a hard piece of fat. To say those potatoes were overly salty would be an understatement – I downed two bottles of water after that dinner. I kid you not, the waiter refilled my water with a plastic kiddie cup that he had probably been drinking out of. We were going to order the crme brle from the beginning, but after it was all over, decided it wasn’t worth giving them any more money. Also, have you people ever heard of background music? Both of us felt bad after the food too. A $90 dinner for two from a pretentious restaurant that doesn’t even know what a pitcher or an oyster fork is.

The BEST!. I had the opportunity to photograph many selections for The Prime Street Grille’s menu. I also got to sample them! Best commercial shoot I have ever got to do. I’m now a regular. Great food and service, and it is consistent. These folk love what they do and it shows. They are located in White Plains, MD. Which is half way between Waldorf and La Plata on Route 301, Crain Highway. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is a joke. Steaks are weighed with all their fat; Caesar salad has no anchovies & not hearts of romaine . Steamed vegetables soggy. Potatoes ore salted. Clang of dirty dishes through restaurant. Absentee owner should pay attention! Overpriced for very mediocre food–think Outback but worse!
