Absolutely the best Italian food in this region. Being from Philly where we had some outstanding Italian restaurants, I know great Italian food and this place reminds me of the best we had in Little Italy. I had the occasion tower the owner in the kitchen and watched h making all of the pasta fresh. You just don’t see that too often. The portions are huge so expect to take home lunch for the next day. My wife and I have tried many items on the menu and each is the best in this area.You’ll also find that the prices are less than the national chain Italian places.
Fratelli’s – Best Italian in Salisbury. We have eaten at Fratelli’s Restaurant many times and the food has been consistently good each and every time. Fratelli’s makes their own pasta (the poor review about the pasta is astonishing…obviously the reviewer has never had fresh made pasta!), their own salad dressing, their own breadsticks and their own sauces. It is the best Italian in the Salisbury/Ocean City area – everything is fresh and homemade. The salad is not just regular iceburg lettuce and a few carrots but a real salad with romaine, cucumbers, onions, olives, tomatoes, homemade croutons and the best tasting Italian dressing I have had. My husband loves veal parmesan and Fratelli’s uses real veal cutlets, not the processed meat patties. One of my son’s favorite dishes is homemade chicken parm and he thinks Fratelli’s is the best, besides my own. I prefer the Chicken Pesto, which is full of sautee’d chicken breasts, black olives, fresh tomatoes, homemade fettucine and the most delicious pesto sauce I have ever had. The portions are large enough so that you can take some home and have lunch the next day!!!
This place isn’t very good. My sister got the chicken cacciatore which was little more than breaded chicken breast (wrong!!!) in the same marinara everything else was served in with a couple of bell pepper slices. The seafood marinara was a generous portion of pod seafood, but none of the four dishes I tried were seasoned at all. Even the pasta tastes like the water wasn’t salted before cooking. Spaghetti Carbonara. Spaghetti carbonara is so good. Don’t eat at Olive Garden they suck at Italian cuisine.
Employees are great, management is ill-tempered and mis-directed for the american market, they need a lesson in how to run a restaurant in america
