So, vacation to the beach, so fast, tired but loving the great seafood. Then order take out portabella salad… lo and behold there’s no crab on the salad as is advertized on the menu!! Sooo disapointing!! Fries ok, son’s burger ok… but What a rip off! You come to the beach for certain things and you can’t even remember the seafood??!!
Ok place but the owner is a jerk. The food is adequate if you are hungry but the owner is a horrible person that has no business skills what so ever. I am all for local business but when the owner is a pompous idiot I can’t bring myself to dine there. The rest of the staff is good but I will not be returning.
Great break from the norm. Tucked away in a place rich with history. our waiter Mathew was on point. I havent had very good service in a while… too many places dont put much focus on customer service. The only thing more noteworthy than the excellent service, was the amazing food! I had the ribeye steak sandwich… sautee’ed onions and mushrooms, served with some amazing horseradish sauce… i havent eat that good in quite a while. My mom had the Ruben, and she was exstatic! Portions were generous without being overwhelming. Service, Food, and ambiance were all well executed… i cant give it any higher praise. I will definitely be back!

Going Downhill. We have been to the Market Street Inn a few times and the first couple of times we had a nice dining experience but the last time we dined there my husband ordered the scallop dinner, it was over $25 and they gave him only 3 scallops over risotto. Needless to say he left hungry. We were supposed to be given bread and we never received it and I ordered a cup of soup, which I was given, but the waiter brought out another cup with dinner, believing I did not recieve it. Communication problem between waitstaff and kitchen? The crab cake was good, but not fabulous and the portion sizes were less than average. Maybe it was just an off night, I sure hope so.
Over-priced. Ordered a crab cake as I was told they were the best in town………..NOT. We spent over $100, I wasn’t impressed…the waiter was nice, food not so.
Dined alone. Missed on my martini. Hendricks gin can cover up mistakes but wasn’t too impressed. Liked the vinegar mixes for the bread dip. Not really unique best nice touch. Cute waitress and she was friendly. I had the scallops with the blueberry pure and they were good but very small portion. Corn salsa was good. Nice outdoor view of water and they had some ducks wondering around. I think they encourage you to feed the ducks but they kinda bugged me. I would come back but will likely look for another place to try next time I’m in town. Pricey small portions
