Absolutely fantastic little place! Had the sandwich of the day with mac & cheese. To top it off, the warm bread pudding was outstanding. I’d definitely visit The Deli again.
Wow!. I went to The Deli not knowing what to expect. I had a vision of a little, brightly lit place to order sandwhiches with maybe a few standard-issue deli tables. What I saw when I walked in the door was a small very clean restaurant with muted lighting, a beautiful bar, rich wooden pub tables, and original artwork on the walls. I was greeted like a long lost friend. Most importantly, the food was exceptionally good. We had about 5 items off the menu and all were top quality. Especially good were the wings — maybe the best I ever had. The Deli features a sandwich of the month (chosen by the chef from recipes submitted by patrons). This month it was a burger with cheddar, special sauce, bacon, and onion rings. It was delicious. Everything else we had was also surprisingly good except for the sweet potatoe fries which were were underdone. We mentioned it to the owner who immediately went back to talk to the chef about it. To sum it up — WOW! I was surprised and delighted. I will be back often.
Beer is always cold and the employee in the front of the restaurant are very welcoming but the wrap that I bought was something that I could of gotten at chick-fil-a for cheaper and it would of not fallen apart when I picked it up.
Must check this place out. This place is the best thing to happen to Salisbury since chicken. The food is awesome; not the usual deli fare. The owners are friendly and the vibe is comfortable and relaxing. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Do yourself a favor and check this place out…..I’ll be back soon and often.
