This is a great coffee shop with authentic French crepes and nice staff as well. They use Dillanos coffee who sustainably source coffee with local producers in coffee countries. They now even have a nitro coffee brew on tap and their lattes are super. My favorite crepes are the Parisian (goat cheese, spinach, cranberries, and pesto — I have them add ham as well) and strawberry and Nutella. Yes, sometimes it does get a little packed but I am happy to wait a bit for good food and coffee — if you want fast food and crap coffee go elsewhere! They even made my coffee with Chessie the sea monster one time!

Disappointed. Sykesville has long needed a coffee shop and gathering place. I had such hope for The French Twist, but after 3 visits I am very disappointed. Great location and interior, but from there it is downhill. The coffee is bland and the crepes are fair, but expensive. My biggest issue is service — it is too slow. 10 minutes to get a basic cup of coffee? 25 minute wait for my food? I hate to say it but I will not be back until they work out what are obvious management and process issues.
Amazing place! Unlike anything I’ve experienced in sykesville. Great coffee. Fantastic crepes. Atmosphere and staff put it through the roof. Love the outdoor seating as well. Can’t miss with this new find!!
