Not at all what it used to be. Used to be one of my favorite places. They used to carry so many exotic teas from around the world, in high quality packaging. Last visit total disappointment! Won’t be returning since everything I loved about the place is gone now. Now just a overpriced,trendy, yuppified restaurant. Shame they changed, was a wonderful place.
Baltimore Coffee and Tea Wonderful Aroma of Coffee. Upon entering this coffee shop you are immediately hit by the wonderful aroma of coffee. Unlike the big bucks coffee shops this coffee house has many, I mean MANY coffee roasts/flavors to choose from. A lovely young woman by the name of Cierra helped my wife and me decide what we wanted as this was our first visit here. She explained the coffees they have and explained the pour-over method. She explained the plates covering the open bags of beans were for smelling and suggested we smell several before making our selection. She ground the beans we selected and poured hot water over the beans in a thin filter and let it steep/filter through. She was so helpful and knowledgeable, I presented her with one of my excellent service pins! We enjoyed our coffees so much we bought half pound bags of whole beans to take home and try in our grinder and brewer. They have a zillion kinds of tea to buy packaged and different sandwiches and coffee to order. I am a huge fan of the bay bridge veggie sandwich but am yet to find my favorite coffee. I love buying the Victorian rose teabags. Peach Melba is also amazing. If you like sweets you might want to try the grapes of wrap. It’s yummy but definitely only for people who like sweet things(:
TIme to relax with a Cup of Joe. So my Husband and I have become addicted to loose leaf tea and keep finding our selves heading to The Baltimore Coffee and Tea Company. Now my Husband likes your basic green tea and loves the China Sencha Green Tea- Green tea, Long, flat Japanese style leaf (4 oz. Tin $6.40). It has a very clean and fresh taste that is very refreshing.Now as for myself I like flavored teas such as the Peach & Ginger Green Tea- 100% Green tea with bits of Peach & Ginger (4 oz.Tin $5.75). I have tried the Frosty’s Favorite Coffee- Flavorful Blend of Cinnamon, & Graham Cracker ($10.76 a lb). I have also have had a few other but can’t recall the names.They also serve Breakfast & Lunch, and now have 12 varieties of Italian Gelato. We haven’t tried any of the different items on the menu or the gelato but the gelato looks out of this world. The sandwiches are very Maryland themed with such items as the Chesapeake Chicken Pesto and the Camden Club. adventuresbaltimore.com
