The service was dreadful. It took 15 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. We had a salad and a pizza. The salad was plain and the pizza seemed almost frozen. We only were given 2 rolls and they don’t give out doh to the kids any more. It used to be really good. That was definitely our last time

The food is great and they spent a lot of time on the entire aesthetic of the menu, decorations, etc. Recommend the Shrimp Rossini.

Ok, but not great. So, my girlfriend and I decided to try a new place for date night and chose Bertucci’s in hopes that they would be an option we could look to in future. First, the service we experienced was exemplary, the waitstaff was clearly invested in making sure our time there was well spent. My girlfriend is celiac and I am lactose intolerant so it is always a bit of a challenge to find food on a menu out that will work for us. Even so, Bertucci’s sported a gluten free menu and I thought I could work around the cheese dishes. In asking our server about the gluten free and lactose free options, she was not necessarily as knowledgeable as I would have liked; but she was very willing to find out the needed info. FYI, the meatballs have cheese in them, Romano cheese and so my wish to have the spaghetti with Meatballs went out the window. My gf wanted to have the chicken picatta, but apparently that is not on the gf menu. So neither of us got what we wanted up front. What we did get was this: my gf ended up getting the roasted veggie appetizer and I ended up with the Chicken Marsala. Her veggies were great. She asked for a side of the Balsamic Nectar and that was amazing with the veggies/mozzerella on her plate. My Chicken Marsala was less impressive. The chicken was dry and crusty on the outside rather than seared, though the meat was tender on the inside. The mushrooms were very good as were the roasted potatoes. Sadly, the roasted green beans were very bland. And finally, the decaf coffee came cold to the table. The key to the success of the dinner despite the drawbacks listed above was the dessert menu which included a flourless chocolate cake. This small dessert for just 2.99 was the bright spot in the evening. It is rare to the point of extremity that my gf EVER gets to eat dessert out. The availability of this one flourless/gluten free dessert option made her evening. We may never eat dinner out there again, but the likelihood of us stopping in to pick up a lovely dessert for her is very high. Cheers to Bertucci’s for having this star moment in a sea of mediocrity.

Decent chain italian. We’ve always had good meals at this Bertucci’s location. Nothing brilliant or creative, but works well with kids and the pizza is tasty. They have healthier options if you want them as well as, obviously, pasta.

Highly not recommendable. Five of us had a variety of meals: Chicken Marsala: bland chicken in a basic brown gravy sprinkled with mushrooms-ho hum, $14??. Penne Puglia: lots of pasta, not much chicken, favorless. The rest of our group were equally unimpressed. Even the bread lacked what we remember as unique. won’t return.
