Good food, great prices. Well-run restaurant featuring both Szechuan and Cantonese items. Excellent shrimp dishes. Always a good crowd, including lots of Asian diners, a good sign. Not into sushi, so can’t comment on it but all the other dishes I’ve had have been very good and the prices are family-friendly. Can’t find much better than this in Baltimore County.
To to bad sushi n very poor food and mr. lou. To enjoy good food you must have good taste, and some class also,evidently by the way you all judge this wonderful, enjoyable restaurant to me and many others the eating expierence is pleasantly served with a smile , politeness. the presentation is clean neat and very appealing to the eye and pallet. as far as a restaurant can go out of its way to make you feel welcome – on a scale of 1 to 10 i give this restaurnat 20 stars.
Bad sushi!. Sushi is a fave of mine. I ordered sushi from this restaurant and it gave me horrible indigestion. The smoked salmon was not fresh, the sushi wrappers were rubbery, and the shrimp tempura was so-so. I also ordered inari and got fried tofu drenched in soy sauce. Other food I’ve gotten from this restaurant was good but I’d stay away from the sushi.
Very poor food quality. This was my first time trying Szechuan House and is for sure my last time ordering from there. I got the general Tso’s chicken with fried rice. The chicken was slimy and had no taste at all. The rice was very bland and not worth even eating. After a few bites, I immediately lost my appetite and could no longer eat. One of my friends also had an experience similar to mine a few months ago and when he called to complain, the lady who answered the phone didn’t seen to care at all. THIS PLACE IS GROSS. Thank you for reading and I hope you make the right choice.
Mr. Lou. Just misses, everywhere, and on everything. Nothing gourmet. Too much sauce, too over cooked, too much grease. On a 7 scale, it’s only worth a 4 1/2 – 5. I don’t care about decor, waiting time, etc, just food. The one dish that was even vaguely good, was the eggplant.Only go when you don’t want to travel to Columbia or Elliott city.
Delivery. I ordered for delivery a large General T’so and 4 egg rollsThe egg rolls were OK a little greasy. The General T’so was very DRY. I’ve haven’t had general t’so in a long time and decided to go off my diet to order from Szechuan house and it was terrible. I will not refer or order again from here
