Wonderful sushi.. Having been to almost all the highly recommended sushi restaurants in the area, we finally tried Yamato. Creative menu along with the non-sushi favorites. Fish was fresh fresh, staff amazingly attentive and friendly. We found the best sushi restaurant in the area!
Best sushi!. The atmoshpere, the owner’s committment and pride, the attentive wait staff all add to the experience. But the fresh hiand creative sushi! I have enjoyed sushi all over the country- and Yamato has the freshest, most creative and delicious sushi I have ever eaten. A non-sushi eating friend joined me once and converted! Thank you Danny!
Excellent Sushi!!!! Best!!! Never had sashimi so thick cuts and fresh!!!
Best sushi in MD if you find somewhere better let me know cause Yamato has it ALL great unique rolls, uncomparable service, BYOB, reasonable prices, quiant atmosphere, freebies, and huge selection what more could you ask for? Im hooked
Delicious!. I’ve been to Yamato twice now and everytime is a great experience. They have the freshest fish and the presentation is beautiful! The food tastes really good and its not only the sushi. The pad thai with tofu was full of flavor and the assorted tempura was not oily or greasy tasting. The atmosphere is relaxing and its BYOB. The staff is really nice and I’ve always gotten really good service here. Overall, I would totally recommend anyone to try this sushi place out!
FAB-U-LOUS. I eat sushi often, and was *very* impressed with Yamato Sushi’s:- selection (a large list to pick from), – creativity (lots of unique rolls), – quality (all the ingredients were fresh), – staff (super friendly, attentive, and patient),- parking (nice, large, well-lit lot full of free parking – not often found in the city places I frequent)A friend and I split:- several rolls (since we’re indecisive – and each roll was *seriously* better than the last), – edamame (cooked to perfection – not soggy like some places), – a Thai tea (fabulous, and not too creamy), and- and red bean mochi (just the right bite-sized dessert). The staff was great, even when the place was packed (on a Monday night, no less – a restaurant that’s packed on a Monday night, now *that* says a lot about a restaurant). Our waiter was even very patient as my friend and I sat and talked the night away at his table. The sushi was so good, I ordered extra to take home to the S.O.I highly recommend Yamato Sushi, and am already planning my next visit!
