My boyfriend and I went here for lunch and the food was amazing. We shared a bowl of the Nantucket Seafood Bisque and shared the Summer Wind Dip. Both were outstanding. The soup was probably the best soup I have had at a restaurant. Lumps of crab meat with sweet organic corn, delish! The dip appetizer was just as good. The dip was served with pita bread and cucumbers. For our entree, my boyfriend had a steak and cheese, real slices of steak and a ton of cheese melted. I had the crab melt. I initially thought it was just crab meat and cheese in a panini but this was a nice size crab cake with melted cheddar on top. Outstanding! I am very impressed with the food. I only wish the bail bonds business next to the cafe would shut down, so the French Press Cafe can expand and have more room for business. I cannot believe I haven’t eaten here sooner! I definitely recommend and will spread the word to others.

Unique and Wonderful Bistro. The Pablo Steak Salad is the best salad I’ve had since leaving L.A. years ago. This is a great little restaurant, Great Steak! Fantastic Salads! Unique sandwiches, Live Music, great value, extensive beer and wine list, great friendly service, the ambiance is happy, bohemian and artsy. Great times were had by all.
Bad Service and OK food. Been here a few times and each time the service has been very poor. Since there is no hostess stand, customers have to stand awkwardly waiting for someone to greet them. Food takes longer than it should to be served and the waiters are almost invisible. Once, my friend and I left because we were sitting at our table for a good 10-15 minutes and still no one had come to take drink orders. The food is alright and their menu is okay, but somewhat limited. If you come here, go for drinks and appetizers, but be prepared to stay at least an extra 30 minutes longer than you had planned to.
Delicious French Press coffee, paninis, appetizers and a great deck. Live music in the summer and this restaurant has it’s liquor license. Great environment, great food, highly suggest this tucked away gem.

I love this place. Everything about it has an edge. Most coffee shops just bring me down, they get me nowhere. But not the French Press. If you want to see people and you want to see life. The French Press is your place. You won’t find any crashing bores here. But what you will find is people having a good time. The wine lover’s plate is my favorite menu item and because French Press has a BYOB license, I can create an affordable yet intoxicating evening for my few friends to enjoy. The Baltimore Club Sandwich for the money is the greatest sandwich experience I ever enjoyed. Someone should let Oprah know- Im serious. As far as the decor. It looks like Kelly Wearsler paid a visit to this joint. I also love the wide range of musical styles that the press puts out.
