Bad service!!. They messed up my sandwich 3 times in a row! Didnt even apologize! Waited 30 mins for 1 Buff Chicken Wrap and didnt even get to eat! Will not be returning!
After the Nastalgia Wears Off Your Left with Crappy Food. Once the grand re-opening fizzled, the restaurant was left to its own vices to compete for your hard earned money with substance- GOOD FOOD! In short, my dining experience was terrible and the restaurant looks like it’s struggling for that very reason. The burger was dry, the bun greasy, and the condiments not fresh. The service was bad, as the girl behind the counter was not very nice or attentive. SHe couldn’t have been in a hurry to serve customers because there was no line.And to add insult to injury, the meal (Burger, fries, and a drink) was $10.00 which is nuts considering the quality. They need to make big changes. Drop the price and raise the quality or leave Gino’s where it belong…..IN THE PAST!!!Usually, there is a reason why a business didn’t stick around. Found it, only this time, it’s part deux.
About what I remember. Ok. Don’t want to get all crazy and romanticize about this place. In my Perry Hall youth it was the place to hang out when cutting class or after a dance. The food was just there. I give props to the onion rings as I have been known to stop and pick up an order to have with backyard BBQ ‘d steak. Shakes and Sodas also good, but pretty much everyplace is on the fresh spun shake train right now. Burgers are OK on a 5 Guys scale–infinitely better then Burger King or McDs. The salads also pretty good though nobody really wants a salad when you are coming in here. Chicken tasted OK on the salad–did not have the sandwich. So now– an A goes in for originality for the Portobello Mushroom sandwich, BUT a D for execution. I’ve never been able to say this before about a mushroom, but it was tough and stringy. I took a bite of the thing and the mushroom yanked right out from between the bun. Patiently, I’d put it back in, take another bite and again–out it comes. Gave up 3/4 of the way through. To sum up, not crazy good. Not awful. Kids will love it.
Great Burgers and Fries. I am a regular at Gino’s because the are great and it’s always fresh. Kinda makes me feel like it could be homemade.
Gino’s Burgers & Chicken. Had the Gino’s Giant last night and it taste terrible. Bring back the Hero Burgers……..PleaseWhere is the chicken( not processed patties) and bring the fish sandwiches back.
Not bad. Went to the new one in glen burnie. The Gino giant is just like a Mcd’ s big Mac. It is nothing comparable to a five guys burger! It’s apples and oranges! It was an ok meal, but not worth waiting 45 minutes for! The chicken strips ate pretty good as well as the fries. 1-10, I’d give it a 6.
