A+ Trendy Hipster Fancy Coffee. A date had asked me where the trendiest coffee shop I knew of was, and when Artifact Coffee in Hampden was closing early for a private event, a friend recommended Spro. The website doesn’t really explain that this is a coffee shop. I guess they have some ethical, help the world promotion somehow intertwined with the sale of their coffee that’s advertised and no menu available online. Easily found with a decorated green store front, it’s much smaller inside than it looks from outside. It was cold outside, but toasty inside. I ordered an Ethiopian blend which I wasn’t sure exactly how it came, small, large, venti etc. I somehow ordered a coffee and it was brought out to me in the back room. We sat at a cramped table, not a very intimate setting seeing as other patrons were only a few inches from us and our conversation couldn’t not be heard. So while the purpose of the meeting was to have an intimate conversation, that didn’t really happen due to the lack of privacy. Coffee was good, atmosphere was O.K, seating was poor. Overall not a bad second choice when Artifact is busy doing a private event.

Honey Macchiato. I had a honey macchiato here. It was unbelievable. I believe it was a 3 or 4 oz drink with 1 oz of espresso, and made with half and half, it had great latte art,
