The Green Turtle, an OCMD fave turned small scale chain, has quickly become my go-to spot for all things drunk and disorderly when I’m in Baltimore. If you’re willing to make the trek up the 30000 flights of stairs, there’s a second bar that opens up into a roof deck with seating and a cool view of uptown Towson. Aside from the bar, the Green Turtle also has a great food menu.

Came here as a last resort and will never return. The place is absolutely disgusting! Very unclean. I ordered a salad and the lettuce was completely wilted and dried out. Very disappointed.
Great Sports Bar. This is my favorite place to watch football in Towson!!! It doesn’t matter where I sit I always have a great view of the game. I love to personal TV’s in the booths!!! Been here on a Friday and Saturday night as well, DANCE PARTY, great time!!! Great bar food and def recommend a late night order of Sweet Taters if you can get your order in before the kitchen closes.
Substandard bar pood. Ordinary beer. Nice patio, though.
Great Kid Friendly Place. We live in Towson and the Greene Turtle is a dream to dine out with our 2 year old. The food is actually really good, the atmosphere is loud but not too loud and very kid friendly. Great prices on bottles of wine or you can join the mug club for everyday discounts on drinks if you become a regular. We often run into our neighbors with their kids as well.
