An Old Favorite. While restaurants come and go, Imperial Chinese has been consistent with their quality of food over the past several years. I have several favorites on the menu, too many to list and always love to try something new. Imperial Chinese is defeinately a family favorite and has been for years! If you haven’t tried it….put it on your ‘Must Try’ list….you won’t be disappointed.

Odd sauce. We were there a little early on a Monday night. It’s a nice-looking place, and there were a few other people there. (I must say, it was odd listening to an oldies radio station in a Chinese restaurant, though.) They brought a pot of really great hot tea as soon as we sat down. I had the wonton soup, and it was quite good. The only veg in the chicken curry was cabbage, and the sauce, while a little curry-ish, was very gelatinous. Such was also the case with my wife’s beef & broccoli. I think they just use a lot of cornstarch in the sauces–we found it off-putting. Her combo came with a giant mound of fried rice and a humongous spring roll. However, because of the weird sauces, I doubt we’ll go back.
