Milkshakes are delicious. Friendly and hospitable environment. Great taste and good portion size. I highly recommend eating from them once and you won’t regret it.
Small town friendly dining atmosphere. Crab cake was excellent. Homemade apple caramel milkshake was delicious. Would definitely recommend stopping in to eat, then browse at the market next door afterward.
Down home. This restaurant epitomizes home style cooking. Love their turkey BLT and breakfast menu. They have great breads as well, stop by the attached market to pick up a fresh loaf.
Good homestyle food and pleasant atmosphere. Wait staff are excellent. Pie isn’t as great as everyone thinks it is but you won’t have room for pie.
Awesome!. Great food and great prices. Speedy service! Friendly people. We must support these local food joints!
We only go for breakfast. The chipped beef is mighty fine, but they stop serving it at 11:30 and if you order close to then it can be lumby. Also, if you get the right waitress you’ll get free refills on chocolate milk, but you never know till you’ve ordered. Keeps it exciting.
Home style and you can’t beat the prices!. This place has been around forever. I’m shocked that this is going to be the first review. I’ve been coming here for over 40 years. My parents used to take us here and now I take my kids. The menu ranges from breakfast to Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Almost all entrees come with a choice of 2 home made, usually home grown sides. Their apple and corn fritters are greasy little bites of heaven! They have some of the best fried chicken, north of Atlanta. Don’t forget to try their home made fruit pies or ice creams. The best part: You can’t spend more than $10 per person unless you want to take some home!
