Wonderful. The restaurant is under new management with a new menu. I went there for lunch today with a group of friends and everyone was happy with their meals. The food was awesome and the service was great. This restaurant is a hidden treasure for Westminster/
Disappointed. I recall going here some time ago and liking this restaurant so when I was craving chinese food, I grabbed some carry out on my way home. The service was friendly and they did ask if I had been helped more than once, but it was a little slow. I saw other customers who walked out the door because no hostess was there, as well as a man who called ahead who waited at least an additional 10 minutes once he arrived. For me personally, it took about 30 minutes for my order which I didn’t think was a horrible wait. After all, good food is typically worth the wait. However, what upset me most about my experience was after ordering basil and scallion chicken and waiting for 30 minutes when my order came up I was told that they didn’t have any basil. They stated it was onions (I later found out about 70% of my dish, I was hoping to pick around) and scallions. How do you even pass that off as basil and scallion chicken when one of the top two ingredients is no longer in the dish, and why couldn’t someone have told me when I ordered or during the last part of my wait as I sat there for about 10 minutes? I think this is what bothered me most, that they waited until I was paying to say something. They did ask if it was ok with me, but at that point I was already pushing being late to let the dog out and couldn’t wait another 30 minutes for an order change, so I said I guess so. When I got home I was hoping for the best, but the chicken was dried out and most of the dish I couldn’t eat (although I can do scallions which are much milder, onions do not set well with my stomach). Sad to say, but I think this was a waste of my $11.00 this time around. In addition, I thought it was strange they wouldn’t accept my payment before the food arrived up front in the restaurant. I guess if the food was good, the service wouldn’t be such a deterrent, but mediocore food and slow service is not a good match. Sorry, but I don’t think I will be returning. There are just too many other choices when it comes to chinese food.

Better than avrage freshly prepared Chinese, Thai and Malaysian dishes.
