Pleasant experience!. After dining at Johansson’s numerous times, I thought I would finally write a review. My friends and I frequently dine at Johansson’s and always receive great service from the friendly staff whether it’s at the bar, dining room or being simply greeted at the front door! They have a large menu selection and we have never had a disappointing meal. Here are a few items that I highly recommend that I myself personally have eaten.Drinks: ( I prefer the beer because they DO brew their own beer in house, but always have an immense selection that’s changing daily) Ask about the house brews or what’s currently on tap!Appetizers:Crab Dip – Excellent. Plenty to share!Bacon wrapped bbq shrimp – Who doesn’t love things wrapped with baconOyster’s on a half shell – Freshly shucked, local. only 6. So be prepared to make 2 orders.Escargot- Good. Rare to find in Westminster. Entrees:Tournedo’s St. Michael – Two filet medallions topped with crab imperialCrab Cakes – AWESOME. lump crab meat. Basically no filler! NY strip – Huge and it’s topped with bleu cheese. And as far as dessert I’ve only had the Chocolate decadence cake. Which is unbelievable. Overall my experiences have been good, no complaints! I also heard great things about the Sunday brunch, but never had time make the visit.

Not Worth the money. I took my wife there for a nice evening out to enjoy a quite time and good food. I have eaten at Johanssons on several occasions mainly at the bar enjoying their brew along with nice music and lite fair (burgers ect.). I ordered the duck and my wife ordered the special which was some sort of chicken dish in a light wine sauce with two vegetables of your choice. Of course I ordered a brew cannot go to Johanssons and not order one of their fine crafted brews. That’s where it stopped, let me just say the service was excellent, if it were not for the service the night would have been a disaster. The duck arrived over cooked the sauce was lacking flavor, the rice that came with the dish, let’s just say back in my baseball days I could have used this to practice with. The grilled asparagus were not grilled they appeared to be boiled and cold. Needless to say I had the waitress take the rice back and I only ate a small portion of my duck. Now my wife’s dish the chicken appeared to be boiled again, the mash potatoes were ice cold. However the dessert (Chocolate cake) was very good, I was advised by the waitress that they did not make the dessert go figure. So if you are looking for a nice meal I would not recommend this place for this, I would say burgers and a beer at the bar you will do fine. There are several other non chain restaurants in the area that are excellent. So do yourself a favor walk around Main Street and enjoy.
Worst meal ever! From the warm white wine to the frozen filet mignon. Trout over cooked; escargot too cheesy. Fatty inedible prime rib. Skip this place!
Baby Shower. Awesome job for my niece’s baby shower! The service and food exceeded my expectations. Wonderful location for special events.
We have eaten here several times before giving up. Basically everything is overbooked… Fish, bison, steak and chicken… Even when specified not to overbook.
Great little bar with great beers on tap. I really like the look of the bar and the bartenders are very friendly. My wife loves the signature cocktails too.
