Amazing food and service. I have been coming to Kobe for years…amazing food and sevice. Top of the line chefs. They give you a performance along with cook absolutly delicious food! The waitresses and waiter’s are very courteous and pleasent from start to end!
Kobe shame house!. Call to place an order that I’m told will be ready in 15-25 minutes. Go to pick it up get there in 30 mins and hasn’t even been started. Told the order never went through! Waited for the sushi while getting rude looks from the sushi chef like it’s my fault for ordering anything at all! And that’s why you don’t get tipped! This isn’t the first time this sort of thing has happened. VERY disappointed and won’t be ordering here ever again.
Useless hostesses who don’t know how to ask a guest what they plan on eating for where to sit (FYI the front and back to the laymen doesn’t imply sushi or hibachi). Mediocre sushi that’s overpriced and bland. Hibachi was decent and service was good but that’s about it.
One of my favorites!. As I scanned other reviews, I was a little confused…Every experience I’ve had there was great! I can say the customer service could be better however, (it’s not a bad as others are saying) they do not have many waiters/waitresses anyway. I’ve had everything, it is pricey but well worth it. Chef is at each table entertaining, and the food is great! Sushi/Sashimi eaters, it’s also fresh and a good size. Alcoholic beverages are great! (Especially the Long Island Ice Tea) *WARNING* Do not go on the weekend! It’s way too busy! I’d suggest to go on the weekday especially Monday or Thursday…
Typical hibachi. Good food, good service/presentation, etc. I personally prefer Benihana over Kobe, but there are no Benihana’s near me. Overall, I’d give it a 7 out of 10.
More expensive, smaller portions, and not as good Sakura’s.
Production Line Hibachi..Next!. 7 of us went to Kobe for a birthday dinner. It was our 2nd time there but we probably won’t go back. It was Friday evening. We were told we couldn’t bring in a birthday cake – not a deal breaker. What ruined it for me was that the moment one of our party put down their fork for good, the waitress was over with boxes – while everyone else was eating. I doubt we were in there an hour. Never again. I don’t want to feel rushed when I dine, especially in a restaurant where the entrees start at $30The food was nothing special. You get a lot but most of your $30+ is rice and noodles.
