We started our dining experience with the server spilling wine all over my husbands shirt. And yet, it did not diminish how perfect the food was and what a great experience we had. I had the lobster roll with truffle fries which was so longed for coming from this Dallasite. We topped the meal off with a bread pudding, creme brle (husbands ultimate dessert) and such an amazing cup of cappuccino. The server and the manager was so apologetic that we were more embarrassed for the server than we were concerned about my husbands shirt. The manager tried to dry clean his Target tee shirt and we couldn’t care less. This restaurant was packed and we definitely know why.
First time great for lunch, second time for dinner was a disaster. Tried this place out for lunch with family that was in town. The bacon appetizer and other appetizers were great and steak/ribeye sandwich was very good. Everyone was happy. They even provided a free brownie desert at the end which was a nice touch. This was within the first month or 2 of them opening. The bad experience came when we took friends there for a belated Valentine’s day dinner on a Sunday nite. There were only 5 other tables seated and place was empty so we were looking forward to a quiet evening where the kitchen and staff wouldn’t be overwhelmed which usually equals better service and food. It started off on the wrong foot when our drink order took over over 20 minutes for 3 bottles of beer and a mixed drink. Then we get our salads which had to be sent back. Then we were informed that they were out of the cuts of prime rib we ordered so we substituted for another cut of filet which turned out to be also not available in the correct portion size after another 30 minutes of waiting. So after this we agree on splitting up what cuts of steak they did have so we could finally eat and patiently waited for over an hour and nothing ever came. So after 2 hours of waiting we got up and left. Very disappointed and embarrassed after recommending our friends to eat there with us that nite for a dinner that would have been around 200.00 for 4 of us and instead wound up at double T diner eating breakfast food at 10:30 at nite.
Found this place on my last night in Baltimore, the food was really good and so was the beer. Samantha was my server, she was friendly and supplied me with a free sampler dessert when I told her I could have another beer because I had to drive. I would be coming back if I had more nights in Baltimore.
Lib`s Grill~ A taste of gourmet in White Marsh!. Lovely quiet dining. Every single thing we’ve ever had there is awesome! Amazing seafood, oysters, steaks, desserts, drinks. … all made with creativity and love! All so beautifully prepared! Great service! A favorite!
