Unique and fun. Stopped by on a road trip and always look for unique little places, and this place is a gem. great, friendly staff who served quality food at a great price. if your in this area it’s a great lunch stop.
Nice little lunch stop.. Stopped at Rose’s after visiting the C & O canal. It is a nice friendly spot right in town. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean but we waited a long time for a sandwich and bowl of soup for two(We were the only ones there at the time). My husband’s order was wrong and we had to remind the waitress to bring our sides. The food and portion size was average/good.
Friendly faces with great food. I stopped into Desert Rose while on a cycling trip across the C&O Canal Trail. The restaurant was just few blocks up the hill off the Williamsport trailhead. The restaurant had a very welcoming appearance and was casual. The menu was a collection of soups, salads and sandwiches with a nice selection of coffee shop items and was written on a large chalkboard behind a counter.Rose herself was working and is a very pleasant lady. We ordered the soup of the day, red beans and rice, and half a sandwich. Both were tasty and made fresh. My other companions had equally as good food. I recommend this restaurant when you are in the Williamsport area. The food was of high quality and the owner made the place very welcoming. She was very accommodating to cyclists who ventured off the trail to downtown.
