Typically I don’t review places and I honestly never complain. I completely understand that some people have off days, but I was just disgusted by loafers service and my overall dining experience. First, the items were so extremely overpriced (maybe that’s just because I’m from out of state and things are cheaper in PA). We started with a $9 appetizer of mozzarella sticks (7 of them) that I believe may have been frozen which I personally don’t mind, but when I’m spending $9, I kinda expected them to be homemade and hot, which they were not. It took our waitress about 30 minutes to take our app order… We received our meal after about an hour of waiting. I had the steak, pepper and onion quesadilla ($11) and my husband got the chicken fingers and fries ($9). Our food was good, but really nothing special. All in all we were there for about an hour and a half… Most of it waiting. They really weren’t busy and our waitress walked by us a dozen or so times throughout our meal but only checked on us at the end of the meal. They also added a 15% gratuity to our check, which I typically have no problem tipping, or upwards of 20% depending on service… I wouldn’t have even tipped 10% at this place… Again, maybe it was an off day? I’ll never find out…
I am at Loafer’s on Rt. 40 and its a HOT ASS MESS! The waitress has messed up our order abt 5 times and then offered soup or a salad as a way to fix her mistake. Our drinks were watery because they had been sitting at the bar for do long and my food was brought to me wrong TWICE! Go to the 1 on Caton Ave.
Loafers on rt 40 is trifling! they gave me fried raw chicken and had plastic in my food. when i requested the manager/owner to come to my table he sent someone else, which i had already waited 10min for him to come. i told her that i wanted to talk to him. another 15min later he finally came. after 25min of waiting for is ignorant ass to come, he was rude, insinsitive, and didnt care that the kitchen/cook gave me raw food and there was plastic in my food. while telling him what the problem was, he walked away from me. of course the situation escalated. my family and myself walked out and that damn near $300 bill was not paid! disgrace
Loafers Caton Ave.. Loafers food is great!!! Best cream of crab soup around. Great chicken parmesan, burgers, wings, fries and nachos. We sit at the bar and service is always great, don’t know about the dining room. Everyone has always been very friendly and gracious! We Love Loafers!
Crapola. Sh*!?y service the bar manager is an uneducated black woman who wouldn’t know good customer service if it sat on her. One question how can you work as a bartender and not know how to make drinks. She fixed me a drink that tasted like diesel fuel, and charged me twelve dollars for it on top of that I ordered one drink and the stragglers gave me two.
This place sucks big time. I ordered fries, wings, and a soft drink. I never got my wings and spent most of the meal with an empty glass. The waitress messed up just about everybody’s order, no one got refills on their drinks and was billed for stuff they didn’t order. Also they automatically include a gratuity in the check. Never going back here ever.
