Good for Indian groceries. (11/4/2014) Weirdly 2 Lotte Plazas within 4 miles of each other. This one is significantly more difficult to get to traffic-wise, it’s at that crazy intersection of Routes 29 and 40, and Frederick Road in Catonsville. Nice wide aisles, fewer people, better (and more) parking. This particular Lotte has a huge Southeast Asian section, almost half the store with it’s own aisles dedicated to Indian goods (dry goods, spices, frozen foods, breads, candy, snacks). Also has a halal meat section.More Chinese items than in the other Lotte which seems to be more Korean focused, also means fewer deli/prepared food type items.
It is a great place for their products and prices!. I don’t know why people are so upset about Lotte Plaza Market. I have visited in Ellicott City and Baltimore Lotte Plaza Market many times for their produce, and I have never failed. I sometimes shopped their international products, and it seems very interesting. When you are visiting weekend, they have food demonstrations, and you will get more discounts on products. Ellicott City Lotte Plaza Market has more Korean foods than other products. Moreover, Baltimore Lotte carries a lot of Indian products.
J’adore!. Not sure what the negative review was really about below… But one thing I know for certain about the people who frequent and who work at Lotte is this:They don’t start s***. So you must have done something REALLY bad.That aside, I love grocery shopping and eating at Lotte. Every time I head toward Columbia I always make sure to stop through.
Rotten place with rotten food items and rotten staff!. I am on a spree to do some real damage to this place by writing adverse reviews when their employee abused me uttering Mother Fu#$%& almost publicly. The issue, I had gone there to return fish that were sold so bad that they smelled ammonia.When I complained to a young lady who I thought would be more sensitive than other staff, she asked me to leave as my refund had been processed!
