Happy hour menu review- the tacos were so fresh. The fish was surely beer battered, shrimps tender but well cooked. The spice levels were below our need but worked out okay. The boiled shrimp were devilish good with good dash off spicy seasoning. The hush puppies were not oily, crunchy but soft and not fully southern like still had oomph. The Orange crush was nice as well. Overall a great taco place we find better than Mothers Cantina.

Great Take Out Meal. We had a very fine take out dinner here while camping at Assateague State Park, which is about 15 minutes away. Everything was ready when I arrived and still hot and delicious after the short ride back. We stuck with appetizers and sides including the Crab Dip (very tasty with excellent fresh french bread cut into thin slices), Steamed Shrimp (also fresh and nicely done with Old Bay seasoning), Clam Strips (plump and tender not thin or chewy), Corn-on-the Cob (sweet white corn still in the husk), Cole Slaw (home made), Green Beans (fresh and not over done) and a generous order of Hush Puppies (done just right). We’ll be back on our next trip to Assateague.

Oh Boy! Seafood Ahoy!. This place is not right at the beach, but it is well worth the relatively short drive to get to there! Very beach and tropics like atmosphere just what youd expect from a vacation and resort town. The one thing that definitely stands out and not expected, is how good it is! When we asked our concierge where we staying what was the best place around, that would not be run-of-the-mill tourist trappy… this is what he recommended. The service surpassed our expectations, attention to detail in serving and waiting on patrons was extraordinary for this type of venue. And the food… well… their extensive menu made it hard to choose from, what we had included Crab Alley Combo chock full of fresh delectable crab meat with little filler, but incredibly well seasoned; a Blackened Flounder Dinner (not charred like some places will do) perfectly prepared and succulent; and a fantastic, tender and tasty Scallop Dinner; while sharing their Steamer Combo across the table. Check out my pictures, cause words do not do this place justice. There arent many places at beach towns that I highly recommend, but this one falls into that hands-down recommended category whether with a large group or small, this place has it for you, even if its just seafood and booze your looking for. Ahoy for a Bon apptit!

Mac-and-me. Contrary to the previous review, everything was well prepared and delicious, and nothing we’ve had has ever made us ill. During our most recent visits–twice between Feb. 01 – 08, 2014) we’ve sat in the bar upstairs and enjoyed clams casino, oysters Rockefeller, steamed clams, oysters stew, Maryland crab soup, fried oyster sandwiches, shrimp salad sandwiches, and a few angus burgers. The servers are top-notch and the atmosphere ( good music + plentiful TV screens) is congenial to the sports-minded and local baby-boomers who frequent this establishment. And so, we shall return often.
