Worst Ocean City Restaurant Experience Ever – be sure to review your check upon leaving – they add a $5.00 Surcharge for no reason – Management won’t do anything about the charge
I was there last week with a party of 13 for dinner. When 2 drinks arrived, a vodka and cranberry and a long island iced tea they had little if any alcohol in them. We advised the waiter who returned with the owner. The owner stated the drinks were fine but he would add another shot in each for an additional charge of $3 each. Itold him the drinks were not made properly and he was risking the loss of a 13 person party with appetizers, drinks and dinner. He stated that was fine we could leave. As we were leaving he even attempted to charge us the appetizers we ordered 5 minutes before this ordeal. We felt bad for the waiter for having this incompetent boss and left him a $40 tip on the drinks. In addition the menu was lacking a variety. What restaurant in OC Md. does not carry steamed clams or any shrimp dishes. We then went 3 blocks to another restaurant where we had a great meal and spent over $600. Poor business decision on his part but from reviews I have seen here and on Yelp I am sure he’s made many. Probably why they had a recent class action suit settled against him.

Dead Freddies is great for families as they have a separate play area for kids while the parents can enjoy cocktails by the tv’s. Their menu is packed with SO many options! We ordered the Seafood quesadilla and Chesapeake chicken sandwich.
