Best Ice Cream in Ocean City. The food may not be great. But it’s hard to pass up a place that makes its own ice cream. The long lines at Dumser’s for their ice cream are incredible but worth the wait.
Went for breakfast. Sat down and there was food in the seat. My wife’s pancakes looked the part, but were heavy and cold, my French toast barely resembled French toast. It had little to no egg batter and was burnt. I never do reviews, but dumser’s food is awful. The only thing that came quickly was the bill.
We only got dessert but the ice cream is really great. I had the coconut chocolate chip which had pieces of coconut in it. Really good quality. Our server was not too friendly…how can you not smile when bringing ice cream to a table with two smiling and excited children?
Great milkshakes!! The food isn’t as good as it used to be. Dumser’s are starting to look run-down inside (a la the typical OC restaurant) and hey, save some money and turn the AC up .. it’s always like 60 degrees inside.
Good for lunch too!. We’ve frequently enjoyed the ice cream and desserts at Dumsers, but went for food for the first time this week and really enjoyed it. Great hamburgers, onion rings, grilled cheese, etc. and fast service. Yes, a bit expensive, but not bad when compared with other OC restaurants.
The food was good but pricey breakfast for two about $30.
