On a recent trip to OC we dined at Hooked only to find an over the top dining experience. Service was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The foodselections included Crab dip, Calamari, crab bisque, buffalo oyster po boy, short rib pot roast, and a banana bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream. Not a single component of a single dish disappointed. the setting was cozy and the bathrooms were clean.I can’t find a single negative based on this experience. Enjoy.
Hooked in Ocean City, MDhas a modern style layout with great seafood dishes and unlimited (or what seems like) options ofcraft beers, wines, and cocktails! Perfect restaurant for happy hour or just whendining in Ocean City! Everything we ordered was flavorful, the service was great, and the environment can’t be beat! A great restaurant atmosphere with some outdoor seating. Limited selections on the menu, but what they have, they do well. Great appetizers and a nice bar area make this place a must see.
Fantastic place! My wife and I went to Hooked based on the reviews here. It did not disappoint. The drinks selection was good and our server was able to offer suggestions. As other reviews say, the scallop entree was top notch. The amount of scallops, grits and vegetables were very well proportioned. The fish and chips were good as well; the slaw was a nice side. The cheesy grits side was the second best part, to the scallops. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and great caliber of service. If you’re visiting OC, make sure to go to Hooked!
Wonderful evening. DH and I took advantage of the waning summer-like weather, and headed down to OC for a couple days. We decided to try Hooked, after having eaten at Just Hooked in Fenwick. We loved the food, as we did in Fenwick. Our server, Olivia, was perfectly professional, and had a great personality. We started with the mushroom flatbread…Delish! and oysters on the half with pomegranate…really nice pairing with the oysters. For dinner, DH had the salmon, which was prepared perfectly, and was apparently, unfrozen. I had the tuna, which I don’t usually order, but I loved it! Was prepared medium (per my request) and was served with Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. Food is tasty, well prepared, and healthier than you might find elsewhere. We did, however, prefer this location to the Fenwick location…This location seemed to be about the restaurant, whereas the Fenwick location was about the bar. The food in either location, is equally as good. Nice to have some delicious alternatives to the beach-fare in OC.
Amazing!! Hands down the best place we are during our week here. The seared scallops with cheesy grits were amazing! They had great happy hour specials as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone who comes to Ocean City
