Kirstin made the experience wonderful.. The four of us had dinner there last week. Kirstin was our waitress and what a wonderful personality and very much on the ball when it came to service. She went out of her way to explain the various differences in sizes of crabs, and even brought out a colossal crab for us to see. My brother-in-law bought the colossal crabs, so she turned a small sale into a bigger one. We ordered the soft shell crabs and they were good. I ordered the blackened salmon and was very pleased. Sitting on the deck right on the bay also added to our experience. Overall, I would give this a 4 out of 5, and the service 5 out of 5.
Very poor. Had the all you can eat and was very disappointed. Crabs that small were probably illegal. shrimp were over cooked and corn was raw, my last trip…each year it has gotten worse..and more expensive……
Great place. Seafood was awsome. I say go.
A little on the pricey side but a fun place to stop. 5 people, 2 dozen crabs, clams, calamari, corn. Great beer selection. The souvenir cup is a must! I’ll go Back.
While our large party was quickly accommodated, two of our party members got their meal 20 minutes after everyone else. And while the waitress said that those meals would not appear on the bill, we had to later ask them to be removed. Service aside, the food was only ok. Certainly Not worth traveling across the bridge from ocean city.
Okay. I went to Hooper’s last night because I had fond memories of trips there in the late 1980s. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to my memories. I ordered Shellshock – steamed clams, mussels, and oysters. The seafood was all very overcooked — the mussels were dry and almost hard. Might have been cooked already and then reheated. The clams were okay, but the oysters were too overcooked and too large to eat steamed. Service was pretty attentive, notwithstanding how busy they were. The restaurant has a great setting and atmosphere.
Every time i go here. I end up loving it. Been here in circa 84,85,87,89,91,93,94,96,04. will be back. not exactly sure of the years but very close. I miss this place.
