Soft Crab Sandwich. Jumbo whale that was cooked perfect07 Apr, 2015Awesome Crabs. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Menu.. The place to go when on the Go. Carry-out or eat in. I love this place. Owner Pete truly cares that you are happy. It’s a regular stop when the belly needs to be happy. Kid friendly.
BLT !!. Best BLT I have ever eaten. Never had a problem with understanding or being understood. Fried chicken is very good too, as are the breakfast offerings. Some of these other reviewers need to get over themselves
Leos. Limited menu. Rude old lady at the register. Sad staff that don’t speak English-hard to communicate (especially over the phone). Overcooked spaghetti, pasta sauce from a can. Average crabs. I will not go back, I rather pay $2 more and go to some other all-you-can-eat places. There is no consistency with that rice pudding. It is included with specials but you are not allowed to take it home. Odd. Bad management.
It was a scene from Seinfeld – Soup Nazi! They would not sell us 4 Chicken breasts…had to buy the special…said we would pay the difference and they said No! Will never stop there again!
Quick Hit, But Pricey. This is a primary quick breakfast hit for me. I cannot speak if the lunch and dinner. But breakfast is as I described – a quick hit. Good, fast and (used to be) cheap. The prices have sky rocketed since I was a teenager. Last time I went, it cost $20 for two breakfast sandwiches (which isn’t on the menu), and a small decaf coffee. You do the math.
Run far away. I just love Mom and Pop’s and we were looking forward to a return visit to Leo’s- but I’ve never had a worse breakfast experience. The waitress couldn’t have said ‘no’ more times than she already did. Can I have pita instead of toast. NO. (I did the last time – just open a different plastic bag!!) Can I have spinach and gyro meat in the omelette – No! Tomato. No! and upon checking I’ll have to charge you.. and they did… $2 for 4 small pieces of tomato. Coffee flow was stingy and our check was unceremoniously slammed on our table before we were even 1/2 way finished. No pleasantries. Omelette was overdone and dry. Chipped beef was flavorless. Too bad – our last meal here was great… 5 years makes a huge difference.
Coming from Pittsburgh, we know this kind of place. A neighborhood joint where the only thing that has changed in decades is the prices. The faded decor dates from the 50s with a 70s touch in the faux stained glass lamps. The booths and carpets are well used. We picked the diner because it was close to the mini golf and it was getting late for our small children. We nixed the chain mediocrity of Phillips for a hopefully more authentic experience at Leo’s. This is not fine dining and we kept our orders basic. The kids shared speghetti and meatballs which they happily devoured, ordering two more to satisfy our hungry two. I kept my seafood to a crabcake sandwich, which hit the spot. The fries were yummy. My wife and I downed Coronas. Decent grub at a manageable price, given the address.
