Great ribs, love the sauce. We ordered The Onion Loaf, it was great. I would love a few more item to choose for their sides. But everything was good!
40 minute wait. Waited another hour and twenty minutes for food to arrive. Appetizers delivered did not match what was ordered. Drinks served were also not what was ordered. Incompetent service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The experience completely ruined my night. I was so angry by the time the food arrived that I could not enjoy the subpar food provided.
The ribs were really yummy and we would come back again. Our only complaint was the kids meals were really expensive- $9. When you have several kids it really adds up!
They listened!. Our first stop again this year. The ribs as usual were outstanding! No little bones on top. Thank you! It was a great start to a wonderful vacation.19 Aug, 2013Our first stop in OC. We have been going to Nick’s for years and it’s our first dinner stop. We had the ribs the other night and as usual the service was excellent and the ribs came out hot. We devoured them. My only complaint (my husband didn’t seem to mind) is that the ribs had all of the little bones on top. Usually I get one or two. I realize sometimes this can’t be helped. I never noticed this before. Maybe they have a new butcher. Otherwise everything was perfect and we will be back!

Great spot that easily accommodated our party of 9. Would definitely get the ribs although others enjoyed the crab, shrimp, and chicken as well. Portions are generous so no need for appetizers. Also love how the drinks came in mason jars.
One of my favorite places in OC. Way better than JR’s or any of the other rub places local.
