Stopped in Saturday morning for breakfast as I am a new local. Hostess was great….that was the only thing great. My mushroom, scallions and Swiss omelette turned out to be scrambled eggs with the ingredients tossed in. It was overdone too. I had asked for Hollandaise sauce but alas it never showed up. I gave the waiter 20% as I know these young people work for this…That stated I will not return.
Haven’t got the food yet but already disappointed. They piled us on top of each other so me pregnant can not get up to use the bathroom. They offered patio seating and we had to climb under a plastic tarp to get to our table. 2 members of our party of their drinks and then the child but I’m still waiting on mine a water and a Oj, 2 items which are already on the table im for other guests. Our food orders placed several minutes ago. If I lived close probably Wouldn’t return.
Just blah. I like toast with an omelette, or fruit or something, but the only thing you get is a flimsy crepe, which I’ve decided I do not like at all. The prices are way too high for eggs! And the food was bland. $45 for 2 omelettes, 2 coffees and 1 juice. REALLY?
A little pricey but definitely worth it! The portions were huge so my boyfriend and I didn’t mind the price. My omelet was amazing, I loved their white chedder cheese! And their tropical green tea and fresh orange juice topped off my magnificent breakfast.
Always good. Bayside skillet is a must go to place, if you go to Ocean City Maryland. The staff is friendly, and acomodating, Irene the lovely lady that most of us know as the Manager is always there year round and visits every table to make sure you are happy. We have never found Strawberry crepes that could match theirs, even the Peanut butter and jelly crepes are a favorite.Of course the signature item is Fresh Squeezed orange juice, every glass is made fresh with full time squeezer’s in the middle of the restaurant busy as beavers squeezing out a truck load of oranges a day.Note- Do not order a large orange juice, it is the same volume as the small at a much lower price.!!! This trick will save you several dollars if you order 2!!large omelets, and many other favorites are on the menus. We go 1 time a month for last 20 years, not cheap, but quality and consistency costs money, not to mention this location is bayfront and has 200+ parking spaces always enough servers so there is no wait.
Had breakfast here on vacation and it was excellent! The portions were huge we couldn’t even finish our food. The staff was attentive and helpful. The juice is fresh squeezedwhen you order and the Chantilly cream was out of this world. A bit pricy but worth a special treat. Will definitely come back next time in town.
