Don’t take heed to the bad reviews. Lasagna was delish and the Chicken Ceasar was great. Drinks are really good and I have to say I had one of my best margaritas there..
Embarassingly awful food. Bland, hardly any garlic, oil, or flavor. All 3 dishes were similarly lacking. Tasted as though someone put out their cigarette in my dish. Worst restaurant experience in my life. Wait staff inexperienced. Too much chairman of the board ambience.
Try it…You’ll like it!. You have to try this place. Red Sauce was great. Steak was excellent. Veggies and soup were fresh and delicious. Nice family place. We took our 8 year old and everyone was happy. If you want better, fight the traffic and go to the North End.
Worse Pizza. My Husband brought home a pizza from Bella Famiglia last night. It was the worse pizza I have ever had. It was so salty that it made it impossible to eat. We will never buy anotherthing from Bella Famiglia
Great Italian food!. Bella Famiglia has the best pizza in the area. It’s a thin crust, North End style pizza. I’ve been there several times and all of the dishes I’ve tried have been excellent! They have the best Chicken Marsala I’ve had. The marinara sauce is also great and all the dishes made with it are very good – much better than Il Forno. They also have a full bar (which Il Forno does not). Acton needed a great restaurant such as this.
Salty and Disapointing. This seemed like a cute little restaurant if you can get past the Sam Adams signs in the windows that are just tacky. We ordered the calamari and it was so salty it was disapointing as that is normally one of my favorites and having ordered this at many restaurants this one was clearly the worst. We also ordered the melanzana pizza and again so salty it was painful. It looked and smelled so great but between the salt and the grease it was tough to swallow. So all and all the for the money I would take Il Forno, Cafe Luigi’s, or a number of other restaurants in the area for better value and better food.
