Excellent veal special and warm nice service.
My last dinner there was a treat. Last Friday, graduation night for many, long lines waited for a seating at Carlo’s. Fortunately, I did not pay attention to Zagat, who did not offer reservations through their app. I just got one on relatively short notice. Our table for eight had an unforgettable good time. I, not a risotto lover, had the best I had ever had, moist but not pasty, full of just rightly cooked vegetables, all topped with a filet mignon, the original magnet for my order. Sardegna white wine, rare to see, was there. A classic Chianti rounded up my libations. Other people in my table were equally happy with the choice of venue, particularly my cousin Ivan who goes gaga for anything Italian that fattens you. Service was superb (Stefano, an abruzzese young man with whom I brushed my Italian, was our waiter). I say Carlo’s competes with advantage with most North End Italian restaurants. Go and enjoy your buona forchetta!
Favorite restaurant. When I lived in Boston, me and my friends loved this place. Everything I ever had here was awesome and for us the tirimisu always had to be our end to a great meal. Special mention for the gnocchi, I have never had it better anywhere.
Very good. Ive been here several times and have yet to be disappointed…great italian food and prices are reasonable!!! parking can be tough at times.

Best Italian outside of the N. End. Huge portions and great prices. Expect to wait on the weekends, but it’s worth it.
