I dream about the miso soup – it is SO delicious. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken curry lunch special. My meat-eating friend loved it, too. My only complaint is the lack of ambience, but the food is great and not expensive. I’d go here everyday if I could.
Delightful. What a wonderful find. Extensive and creative vegetarian menu. So many categories I couldn’t begin to describe here. Fresh juice bar, I loved the limeade. Loved the spring rolls, and the chicken-style seitan with snowpeas and garlic sauce. I have enough food for at least 3 meals still. Good service, very nice people. If I still lived here I would eat here at least one time per week.
Wonderful!!. Grasshopper has been my favorite restaurant since I was 16. I absolutely love their food, and now that I am gluten-free they are still the best. I can ask for my favorite dishes (number 44) without gluten and they happily oblige. Also their lunch specials are very inexpensive and you gt a lot of food. I love their bean shakes and their desserts as well. No Name was the best until I became gluten-free – but I still recommend it to my friends!
I <3 Grasshopper, have been frequenting for 10+ years. They have a brilliant menu, best vegan place in the Boston metro area, imo!
Disjointed service and a little dirty… My partner is a vegetarin and well I love my chicken/seafood, but this place really served up some good food! Also, bring cash, I wouldn’t use my debit/credit cards there… Sorry to say that… Oh, there was no real sugar as well… :-(…
A treat. It was amazing to be able to walk in here and know i could order anything on the menu.Went for lunch and the portions are great. The no-name is the most popular menu item but they have tons of other great tasting entrees. I’ll be back to this place many many times.
Good miso…. The miso soup was great and it was nice to not have to worry about any fish sauce; but unfortunately this restaurant is terrifying for someone with a Gluten-free diet. Gluten is used as an ingredient in many of the dishes, similar to Buddha’s Delight in Boston, which makes it difficult to trust the meals to not contain any. (They do Not claim to be gluten-free, but just thought I would spread the advice as a GF/vegan).
