Alright! I am surprised with the good review of this restaurant and decided to give it a try. But it definitely did not seem like the ratings. Furthermore, the food I’ve had abetter experience in Boston. The FoodBoth foods came at the same time. We ordered chicken tikka for appetizers. It was okay, a little bit dry on the surface since it is claimed to be oven cooked. It’s not bad but it was okay. We had the lamb biryani rice. The food was good at the first bite, the lamb was in good portion and size. It was good but then after a couple of bites, I realized the food was not even sizzling hot in the first place and the plate was not slightly hot as well. Then I thought to myself this must be just a microwave food or something. I looked closely to the lamb and the surface is dry and seemed like it is been reheated. I was just not impressed when I looked closely. So we decided not to get any dessert after what I have just seen.AtmosphereThe place is medium size could use a bit of lighting but other than that is good.ServiceService was very friendly.Overall ExperienceI don’t think I would come back again, given that I know there is a better Indian restaurant out there in Boston. But maybe I chose the wrong food because from what I have seen people were ordering the curry menu like chicken tikka massala. Regardless, the microwave is not acceptable.

Probably one of the FEW indian food outlets that ive liked in the US. They serve good kadhai chicken, daal makhani and matar paneer. Basic comfort food for any indian.

Good food no infact great desi food.. Having food here was such a bliss.. Like proper food after a few days eating sandwitches.. Staff behavior puts you off a bit as they seem uninterested in serving you. But if ur desi and looking for good desi food this is a good place to try out!

After getting food delivered from this place a number of times and having loved it, I along with my friends decided to dine in. Saturday night and the place was pretty much full, we were asked to wait for a few minutes before our table was prepared. We ordered Mutter Paneer , Butter Chicken and Fish Masala – all these curries are accompanied with basmati rice ! Always ask for the curries to be made spicy because otherwise they would be bland! We ordered butter naan! The mutter paneer was tasty – and my friends loved the non vegetarian preparations too! The naan i felt was better than the ones we are served in India!!!That’s saying something! The rice was well prepared too!The ambience is okay and there’s always nice Hindi songs playing! This place might seem a little pricey..but all Indian restaurants here are a tad expensive! The waiters were polite and helpful .

All of the times I have ordered delivery the food has taken around 45 min. This is too long but the quality of food is high and most times worth the wait.

HORRIBLE !!!. I made the mistake of ordering from this restaurant online through GrubHub. BIG mistake. They brought the food in an hour, which is acceptable because of traffic and weather. Though they are 2.4 miles from the Fairmont. I specifically added a request to include forks, knives, plates, napkins. NONE OF THESE WERE INCLUDED. Those of you who eat Indian food know that it is nearly impossible to eat without these items. In the trash it goes – what a waste. We called the restaurant and they said it would take another hour to bring the items to us. Since they are 2.4 miles away, we found this unacceptable. We called GrubHub and just told them we would leave the food outside our door and we don’t want to be bothered by them. We will go out to dinner tonight. HORRIBLE.

Really good. I came here for a pretty casual dinner on a Sunday evening with my boyfriend. Another friend had confirmed the legitimacy of this place and I was eager to get my Indian food on for the evening. For apps, we got the mixed platter, which had chicken tikka, samosas, aloo tikki, and vegetable/chicken pakoras. All elements of the plate were really delicious and cooked really well. The chicken tikka and pakora were succulent and the various vegetable appetizers were extremely flavorful and had nice textures to them. We split a goat curry for the main entree. The goat was excellent. Gamier than other proteins, goat is always interesting for me to eat. The texture of it was like butter (no joke) and the curry was very earthy and rich with Indian flavors and spices, so that balanced out the gaminess of the goat. To sop all the sauces and chutneys up, we also ordered an onion naan. The naan was really good because in addition to the onion, there were other herbs in it (cilantro I believe) that added levels of flavor to it. Overall, the meal was quite excellent, exhibiting deep Indian flavors across the board.
