A crust away from excellent. Stumbled on Stone Hearth and, as an ex-New Yorker ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and a salad. I skipped the beer as it was mid-day. The salad was wonderful. Just enough chardonnay/tarragon dressing. It inlcuded all the fresh greens listed on the menu, including the parsley, which I could taste. I am really, really picky about pizza and judge based on NY-style. Stone Hearth is so close. The sauce was great. The cheese was great. The crust was thin and crusty — but bland. They are missing something in the crust — perhaps part of the reason the edges just lay there instead of rising a bit. The pizza was still very good. Beer list looked great as did everything else on the menu. I love the fresh ingredienct concept. I will return.
